Tuxedo Gift Bags
Well. This is my very first post as a married woman! Our wedding was on Saturday and it was absolutely beautiful. We were so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by all of our favorite people and to spend the day being loved on and pampered (& a little tipsy haha). Now that all the hub bub up of wedding planning is over, I'll have a little more time to dedicate to my wonderful readers and my blog and I have a TON of wedding-related projects to share with you!
First up! These groomsmen gift bags. The five men that we were lucky enough to call our groomsmen were a huge help. They were so amazing and we love each and every one of them so much. Jerry chose to gift each guy with a pocket watch with their initials on them.
The little gift bags were a breeze to make.
- small black gift bags (found here for $6.50 for 2 dozen)
- black & white tissue paper
- thick white construction paper
- black paint
- letter stickers (found here for $1.99)
First, I cut little white triangles out of the construction paper and glued them on to the gift bag, making sure the triangles base was flush with the top of the bag. Then, using the paint, i dotted on small "buttons" and drew the bow tie. Once the paint dried, I stuck on each guy's initials with the stickers, filled the bags with their present, and stuffed it with the tissue paper. Voila!
As always, for those who aren't into crafting, these are available for purchase in The Shop! Happy crafting!
