4 Days of Christmas Wreaths: Modern Ribbon Wreath (day 2)
I wrapped and unwrapped this wreath about 5 times before I decided how I like it. Then I walked away from it for about 2 hours and changed my mind. So full disclaimer: this is a totally an easy-peasy project UNLESS you're super picky and indecisive like me haha.
- foam wreath form (I used a 12")
- 4 yards of 2 inch black ribbon
- 4 yards of 2 inch white ribbon
- hot glue + gun
- the winter/Christmas symbol of your choosing (I found this foam snowflake at Michael's. They had a darling deer one too that I almost got. It's made of the same kind of foam that those heads are made out of that hold wigs)
- spray paint
Start by wrapping your wreath form in ribbon, alternating colors. I found that I preferred it wrapped around once so as to create smaller stripes. Hot glue it in place each time you wrap.Spray paint your foam snowflake (I chose gold, but obviously you can do any color you choose) and once it's dry, hot glue it onto the wreath form. BOOM. Easy-Peasy.
