4 Days of Christmas Wreaths: Ornament Wreath (day 3)

4 Days of Christmas Wreaths: Ornament Wreath (day 3)

Full disclosure: I can't take any credit for this one. My mom is a craft genius and I like to think a little of that rubbed off on me. But, since I didn't make it, I don't have any "action" shots of it's creation. I do, however, have her verbal directions!

Materials:

  • Ornaments: 53 large, 12 medium, 12 small, and 31 mini
  • Foam wreath form (this one is a 14")
  • Garland
  • hot glue + gun
  • bow (my crazy mama actually knows how to make fancy bows and made this one herself)

Start by gluing the large ones on to the form first, then use the medium ones to fill in some gaps. Do the same with the small and the minis. You will inevitably still have gaps at the end. Cut small pieces on garland and glue it into the gaps, pressing it into the foam form. This will keep anyone from seeing the foam through the holes and also add to the sparkle (which is obviously the best part). Once it's done, top it with a bow!
