Modge Podge Comic Book Dresser
Well. It's official, I'm a crazy person. Less than a year after completely redecorating little man's room, we've done it again!
Like I said, I'm a crazy person. BUT! I did have moving as an excuse, so I get a pass...right?
I'm so excited to show you the all the final result of Ev's new Super Hero themed room, but in the meantime, you'll just have to be satisfied with this latest craft project ;)
We originally bought this dresser from Kmart for a steal at $40. It worked great for his old room, but this room is so loud and colorful that it needed a little...oomph. ...It also needed a little attention from my mister, because I originally assembled it myself, and all the drawers were crooked, as evidenced in the before picture. haha.
This project was so much fun to complete because I got to do it with my love, in fact, it was his idea. J & I had talked about it for a couple months before we actually got around to it, and by the time we finally did, it was the night before Ev was scheduled to arrive back in town for Halloween. J found this great used book store called Grass Roots where he was able to get old comic books for .99 cents a piece. So, we stayed up until midnight cutting out pieces of comics and modge podging them onto the dresser.
The kiddo very dramatically pretended to faint when he saw his new room and I can't wait for you to see it! I'll be rolling out one more DIY project I completed for his room before I show the final result on Friday!
