I Tried The KHLO-CD Cookie Jar Method So You Don't Have To
I'll admit it: I love the Kardashians. I could stay in on a blustery night, cuddled up on the couch watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians reruns for hours. I'm just fascinated by them. Yes, they can be outlandish and yes, they can be obnoxious, but they still absolutely adore each other, have fun together, and are comfortable enough with each other to say exactly what's on their minds. My favorite of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters is Khloe. I just love her. She's so sassy and level-headed and loves her family fiercely. She's also a boss applesauce when it comes to organization and home decor. She released a video about how she stacks her Oreos in these cookie jars and I have been dying to do it ever since.
Khloe buys the Anchor Heritage 2 Gallon Jars from Target (available here) which are a great deal at $13.99 a piece. I decided to go smaller and bought the same jars, but in the .5 gallon size (available here) for $5.99. I got three of them and experimented with different cookies, but by far the Oreos look the prettiest. I liked this so much, that I may actually go back and upgrade to the 1 gallon jars, use exclusively Oreos.
Here's a quick timelapse of me putting together an Oreo cookie jar. They're super simple to do and Khloe is 100% right- Double Stuffed does look the best. Below, you can see two of the other jars I put together using a similar method.
On the left, I used Mother's Tea Cookies (which I have been encouraging my husband to eat because I think they're two big for these jars and look...crooked? Maybe? I can't figure out why I don't like them), the middle are Oreos, and the right are Keebler Fudge Stripes which are my all-time least favorite. Those just look silly.
I love organization and finding organization methods that also serve as home decor? Now that's just the icing on the....cookie.
