Mini Drunken Chocolate Creme Pies
I hate math. Like, with the fiery passion of a thousand suns, i hate math. English, history, science- throw those at me any day, but i LOATHE math. When I was younger, I used to have severe panic attacks before major math tests. I swear you could explain an equation to me ten times and I will swear you're speaking Chinese. Remember Justin Timberlake in Friends With Benefits? When he's trying to figure out how tall the fence is & is just throwing out random numbers and multiplying them? That's me.
Pi Day, however, was always fun in school. Nerdy math teachers who love nothing more than a good pun, would bring us pies and I'd spend the rest of the day pretending it was an actual holiday. Aww. The good ole days.
I'm going to a get together tonight and while it really is just a regular ole "let's have some drinks and hang out" kinda shindig, I've decided it's a Pi Day Party, and I am coming prepared. I made these adorable little pies for my friends, but don't be fooled. They do have liquor in them and they will sneak up on you.
- 1 package of instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
- 3/4 cup of Crave Chocolate Truffle Liqueur
-3/4 cup of cold milk
-i (8 ounce) tub of extra creamy Cool Whip
- pre made graham cracker pie crusts
mix your package of pudding mix with the cold milk until combined. savor how pretty it looks because this is the last time it will have the same consistency as pudding. add in your liqueur and mix until there's no more lumps. gently fold in your cool whip using a spatula. Spoon the mixture into your graham cracker crusts (it will be a little thin) and plop it in the freezer for about an hour and a half or until firm. Remove from freezer right before you're ready to serve and top with whipped cream.
HAPPY PI DAY! How many of the numerals of pi can you name? I got 3.1415...... annnnd that's about it.
